Block Reign — Privacy Policy
Short version: Block Reign has no accounts and no player database. We never ask for your name, email address, or payment details, and nothing you type into the Game ever leaves your device. Analytics is off unless you switch it on. If you leave it off, the Game sends nothing about you to anyone. If you switch it on, Google Analytics receives a short, fixed list of events about how the Game is used — tied to a random identifier stored by your browser, never to your name, and never including anything you typed. You can change your mind at any time.
This policy explains that in full. It is written by Edukas Solutions LLC, a California limited liability company, which makes and operates Block Reign (the "Game"). It covers the Game and the website that delivers it.
1. What we do not collect
We want to be specific, because "we care about your privacy" means nothing on its own. Block Reign does not:
- ask you to create an account, sign in, or give us an email address;
- collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or payment details;
- show you advertising for anyone else's products, sell advertising space in the Game, or use any third-party advertising or marketing technology, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, or cross-site tracking technology of any kind;
- use Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, or any advertising pixel, and we have not linked the Game's analytics to any advertising account, advertising audience, or ad network;
- build an advertising or marketing profile of you, or sell or share information about you with anyone;
- send us the crew name you type, anything else you type, your saved career record, or the map number you are playing;
- use cookies, or contact any service other than our own hosting provider, unless you switch on optional analytics — see Section 2. If you leave analytics off, no cookie is set and nothing about your visit reaches Google or any other third party.
What we may show you: our own products. The Game may show you a promotion for another product made by Edukas Solutions LLC — for example, a panel on the end-of-match screen. We want to be equally specific about these. They are built into the Game and served from our own hosting. Every player sees the same promotion: it is not chosen using anything about you — not anything you typed, not how you played, not your career record, not your location, and not any profile, because we do not build one. Showing it involves no third party, no ad network, no cookie, and no tracking technology, and it sends no information about you anywhere. If you tap or click one, your browser opens that product's own website, and from that point that site's own privacy policy applies rather than this one.
We hold no account records and no player profiles. If you switch analytics on, the information described in Section 2 is held by Google on our behalf and we see it only as summary reports — never as a record about you by name.
2. Your analytics choice
Analytics is off until you choose to turn it on. When you first play, the Game asks you a separate question — after, and apart from, accepting our End User License Agreement. Accepting those terms does not turn analytics on. You can decline and play the Game in full, with nothing withheld.
If you decline — or if you never answer — the Game loads no analytics code, sets no analytics cookie, and sends no request to Google. There is nothing to switch off later, because nothing was switched on.
If you allow it, the Game loads Google Analytics 4 (a service of
Google LLC) using our public measurement ID G-GP1Q6CEX68, and Google
then receives:
- the page title, and the page address with the map number and everything else in the address removed except campaign tags (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content,utm_term); - the address of the page you came from, if any;
- your device type, browser, operating system, screen and language settings, and similar general technical information;
- the time of each event;
- an approximate location — country, region, and city — worked out from your internet connection;
- and these events about how the Game is used, and nothing else:
| Event | What it records |
|---|---|
| Page view | That the Game was opened |
| Game start | That a match began; whether it was a quick or standard match; whether it was a new neighborhood or a replayed map |
| Game engaged | That a match reached 60 seconds of active play |
| Game over | That a match ended; win or loss; quick or standard; which of four length bands the match fell into; which of four bands your end-of-match respect fell into |
| Replay | That you started another match, and which control you used |
| Error | That something failed, as one of four fixed codes: the Game failed to start, an unexpected error occurred, an unhandled error occurred, or the share card failed to generate |
| Promotion shown | That a promotion for one of our own products was displayed, and which one |
| Promotion clicked | That you clicked a promotion for one of our own products, and which one |
What Google never receives, on any setting: your name or email address; the crew name you typed, or any other text you typed; your saved career record; the map number; your exact match length or your exact respect score; the text, file name, or technical detail of any error your browser produced; your diagnostic log; and any payment information — because the Game has none of the last two and takes no payments.
Cookies. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser
named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code for our property. They hold a
randomly generated number that lets Google tell one browser's activity apart from another's over
time. They do not contain your name and are not linked to any account. If you
decline, these cookies are never created.
Your IP address. To deliver anything to your browser, the internet requires that your IP address reach the servers you connect to, so Google receives it while collecting each event. Google states that in Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are used at the time of collection to work out location information and are then discarded before the data is recorded, and that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We never see your IP address in our analytics reports. (Google's statement, at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/11598602, read on 2026-07-29.)
How long it is kept. We have set the shortest retention Google offers for the longer of its two settings: event-level and user-level records are deleted 14 months after collection, and that clock is not restarted by later visits. Totals in our summary reports may remain after the underlying records are deleted.
What we use it for. Only to understand how many people find the Game, where they came from, and whether they start, keep playing, finish, and come back — and to notice when a technical error starts happening more often after a release. We do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to make decisions about you, and there is nothing in it that identifies you.
Google's own description of how it handles information from sites that use its services is at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/, and Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Changing your mind. See Section 9.
3. What the Game stores on your device
The Game saves a small amount of information in your browser's local storage on your device, so that it can remember your preferences and your progress between sessions. This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us, and we cannot read it.
| What is saved | Why | Where it is kept |
|---|---|---|
| Your crew name (including a name you type yourself) and your chosen crew colour | So the Game remembers your crew next time you play | Your browser, until you clear it |
| Your last chosen match length | So the Game starts on your preferred match length | Your browser, until you clear it |
| A randomly assigned match-length option | So the Game shows you a consistent default rather than a different one each visit | Your browser, until you clear it |
| Your local career record — matches played, wins, best win streak, and titles earned | So your career progress carries over between sessions | Your browser, until you clear it |
| Whether you turned on the frame-rate display | So the Game remembers that setting | Your browser, until you clear it |
| Your acceptance of our End User License Agreement and this Privacy Policy, with the version you accepted and the time you accepted it | So the Game does not ask you again every time you play | Your browser, until you clear it |
| Your analytics choice, with the time you made it and the policy version it was made under | So the Game can honour your choice without asking again | Your browser, until you clear it |
| A short technical diagnostic log — recent game events, game-state numbers, and any error messages your browser produced | To help diagnose a problem if the Game misbehaves while you are playing | Your browser, erased automatically when you close the tab |
The diagnostic log records game-state values such as the map seed, the in-game day, and in-game resource counts, along with any JavaScript error message your browser generated. It does not record your crew name. It is kept in session storage, so your browser discards it when the tab closes, and it is never sent anywhere — including to Google if you have allowed analytics. If an error is reported to analytics, it is reported as one of the four fixed codes in Section 2 and nothing more.
You can delete all of it at any time by clearing site data for the Game in your browser settings. You can also clear your career record from inside the Game using the "Reset" control on the career panel. Deleting this data does not require asking us, because we never receive it.
If your browser blocks local storage — for example in a private or incognito window — the Game still works. It will simply not remember anything between sessions, including your analytics choice, so it will ask you again next time.
4. Your crew name
The Game lets you type a crew name. That name is stored only in your browser. It is not included in the share image the Game generates, not included in the challenge link, not included in the diagnostic log, not sent to Google Analytics on any setting, and not sent to us. Even so, we suggest picking a crew name rather than your real name — a good habit anywhere online.
5. Sharing your match
At the end of a match, the Game can create an image summarizing your result. That image is drawn on your own device and is not uploaded anywhere. Nothing is shared unless you press a button.
If you press Save, the image downloads to your device. If you press Copy challenge link, a link is copied to your clipboard; that link contains only the map number and the match length, and nothing about you. If you press Share, your browser or device hands the image and text to whichever app you choose — for example a messaging or social app. From that point the receiving app's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
6. Where else your browser connects
Hosting. The Game is hosted by Vercel Inc., which delivers the Game's files to your browser. As with any website, delivering a page requires the hosting provider to process technical request information — your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the file requested, and the time of the request — and Vercel keeps operational logs of that traffic for delivery, security, and troubleshooting purposes.
This is ordinary web-server processing, not tracking: it is not tied to any account, is not combined with any profile, and is not used for advertising or analytics. It happens whether or not you allow analytics, because it is how the files reach you at all. Vercel handles this information as our hosting provider, under its own terms and privacy commitments, which are available at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Supporting the Game. The Game may include a link to our page on a third-party support service (Ko-fi, operated by Ko-fi Labs Limited), where you can choose to tip us if you want to. The link is only a link: nothing is loaded from that service unless you click it, no cookie is set, and no request reaches them while you are simply playing. If you do click it, your browser opens their website. If you then choose to tip, that service and its payment provider handle the payment and collect whatever information they need to process it — we never see your card details, and we receive nothing that identifies you. Tipping is entirely optional, unlocks nothing in the Game, and changes nothing about how the Game works for you. Their own privacy policy applies to what happens on their site.
Apart from what is described in this section and in Section 2, everything the Game loads — its code, artwork, models, audio, and typefaces — comes from our own hosting.
7. Children
Block Reign is intended for players 17 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The Game has no account system and asks for no personal details from anyone, of any age. The analytics described in Section 2 is off by default, is offered only after a player confirms they are 17 or older, and collects nothing that identifies a person. If you are a parent or guardian and want to remove everything the Game has stored, clearing site data for the Game in your child's browser removes all of it, including the analytics choice and its cookies. You can also reach us at support@edukassolutions.com.
8. Security
The Game is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Because the Game stores its own data in your browser rather than on our servers, the security of that data depends mainly on the security of your device and browser. We do not hold a copy of it.
9. Your choices and rights
The controls that matter are in your own hands, and none of them require asking us:
- Turn analytics off (or on) at any time: open Privacy choices, linked in the footer of the title screen and available in the Game's settings panel. Turning it off is one click, exactly as turning it on was. From that moment the Game sends nothing further to Google and deletes the
_gacookies it can reach in your browser. - Delete everything the Game has stored: clear site data for the Game in your browser settings. This removes every item in the Section 3 table and the analytics cookies.
- Reset your career only: use the "Reset" control on the career panel in the Game.
- Play without anything being saved: use a private or incognito window.
- Block Google Analytics everywhere, not just here: Google publishes a browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
One limit we want to state plainly rather than leave you to discover. If you allowed analytics and later change your mind, we can stop all future collection and clear the cookies — but we cannot reach back and delete what Google already received, because we hold no identifier that would let us point at your records and ask for them. We could only gain that ability by keeping a record about you, which would be a worse outcome than the gap it closes. So we do not keep one. If you want the underlying data gone, clearing your cookies and browser data severs the link between your browser and any future collection.
If you live in California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or anywhere else with data-protection rights, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. We hold no account, no email address, and no name for you, so in practice there is nothing for us to look up, export, or close. If you would like to confirm that, or ask us anything about this policy, write to support@edukassolutions.com and we will respond.
We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make a change that materially affects how the Game handles your information, we will show you the updated policy and ask you to accept it again before you continue playing, and we will update the version number and effective date at the top.
If we ever add a new service that receives information about you, we will ask for your analytics choice again rather than treating an earlier choice as covering it. A choice you made about Google is not a choice about anyone else.
Smaller changes — corrections and clarifications that do not change our practices — take effect when posted. The effective date above always tells you when the current version took effect.
